Serenata Singers is a community choir based in The Gap, Queensland which sings a variety of popular, traditional, spiritual and show tunes. Pre-COVID, the choir performed regularly in aged-care facilities and for local community groups. The choir is eagerly anticipating a return to performances in 2021.

Our (belated) celebratory 50th Anniversary Concert

The Serenata Singers observed our 50th anniversary in 2020. Unfortunately, COVID-19 put paid to any celebrations in that year. Never mind, we held a free afternoon concert in the Auditorium of The Gap Uniting Church on Saturday afternoon, 29 May 2021. Friends, family and former members joined us. We even had a cake! Check out the photos posted in the Latest News and Reports section.

Looking forward to 2021

Last year was a challenging year to say the least! We look forward to a much more melodious 2021. Rehearsals have now re-commenced on Monday evenings from 7pm at The Gap Uniting Church.

We turned 50 in 2020!

If you’ve had any connection with Serenata Singers, or The Gap and District Musical Society as we were originally called, over the years then tell us your memories and join our celebrations (postponed to 2021). Go to our History page for more.
