Serenata Singers is Seeking a New Conductor for 2023

We are sad to report that Lois Cutmore has announced her intention to resign from the choir at the end of 2022 to pursue other interests. Lois has been a driving force in the choir as our Conductor since 2015. Previously she had been a member of the choir. We will be sad to lose Lois and wish her the best for the future.

We are therefore looking to appoint a new Conductor to commence in 2023. Further information about this opportunity can be accessed here.

We turned 50 in 2020!

The Serenata Singers, or The Gap and District Musical Society as we were originally called, observed our 50th anniversary in 2020. Go to our History page for more.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 put paid to any celebrations in that year but we finally held a free afternoon concert in May 2021. Friends, family and former members joined us. We even had a cake! Check out the photos posted in the Latest News and Reports section.
