In 2020, the choir will celebrate its 50th anniversary. It was founded as The Gap and District Musical Society in 1970 by Nerida Elwood, who served as the choir’s first conductor. Over the years there have been quite a number of choir members, conductors and accompanists – not to mention audience members.

We have compiled a  draft list of people who have been associated with the Serenata Singers over the years and are asking for help in identifying omissions and errors. The list has recently be revised (as of 30 April) and can be accessed here. Notice that anyone has been left out? Got our facts wrong? Misspelt someone’s name? Contact us to update the list.
