Well, we just started our year with a concert at Tri-Care Stafford.  We had a hot stuffy day with all the over-cast conditions, but it all went without a major hitch.  Ian (MC) mis-read the programme, and that set the scene for a light hearted run through of some lovely songs,  ranging from Irving Berlin, Marvin Hamlisch to Cole Porter and everything in between.

Ably supported by a few star turns: a first from John S (well done!), Barbara and Sharon, and Denis combined with a barbershop quartet (alright – maybe quintet of Frederick, Bill, Denis, John and Ian!).

Add into the mix a little participation from the audience (and it was great to see them singing along with the choir too) and we whiled away an afternoon.
