2023 is our 53^rd year in continuous service providing entertainment primarily to Retirement Villages and Age Care Facilities. As of July, we have performed at 11 venues with a wide range of songs from musicals such as “Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Miserables” to popular classics such as John Denver and Simon and Garfunkel. We have another 5 concerts before we start a Christmas round which includes shopping centres and Community Groups.

We have a few members who have been involved at a more professional level, but most of us are common folk who just enjoy singing and sharing. We do not expect brilliance, but we do sing in SATB. That is, we identify where your voice best sits, and break popular music into 4 parts for soprano, alto, tenor and bass. This can be confusing at first if you have not read music, but we have many capable members who will guide and encourage you.

We have a very enthusiastic musical director in Guillaume Lemay-Yates and an equally (or more so) enthusiastic accompanist in Alison Siemon who select our music and guide our performances.
