On Thursday 27 October, we presented a concert at Aveo Parklands Retirement Village, Newmarket, and again on Sunday 06 November at Aveo, Albany Creek Retirement Village to very appreciative audiences. Our President John McCollow with his usual repartee, kept items moving and the audience informed and smiling.

Jenni, our Associate Conductor commented, “Please congratulate the choir on a wonderful concert this morning – I thought they sounded great!”

While preparing for the concert at Aveo, Albany Creek, we unveilled our new self-standing banner promoting our choir.

Again, we entertained with a broad selection from “I Am Australian”, “Scarborough Fair”, “Amazing Grace” and even a “Jersey Boys Medley” which was a lively way to finish the concert. The audience was not left out. On both occasionas we like to encourage their participation with well-known popular tunes such as “Georgie Girl”, “Love Me Tender” and “Blueberry Hill”.
