It was a great afternoon at the 4MBS Performance Studio on Sunday, 15 September, where the Serenata Singers kicked off the afternoon’s entertainment with our medley of John Denver songs. Our performance was followed by a wonderful variety of music acts including Spanish classical guitar (Jeremy Stafford), guitar and vocal renditions of contemporary songs (the Dragonfly Music Lovers: Shayne Arthur and Tessa Bowman); operatic arias (Shirin Majd); a piano solo by our own Prue Gibbs; and lovely renditions of Singin’ in the Rain, All I Do is Dream of You and Today by another Serenata stalwart Sue Stern, accompanying herself on ukulele.

The concert was followed by afternoon tea, with performers and audience members mixing and enjoying the fine Spring weather.
